One name, two ways to use it
Your subdomain is the anchor of your developer identity. Use it as your profile, or point it at a site you already host — switch anytime from the dashboard, without losing anything.
Profile mode
yourname.theid.dev loads your theid.dev profile directly. Perfect if you don't have a personal site yet — you get a polished page from day one.
CNAME mode
yourname.theid.dev points to an external service (Vercel, Netlify, Railway, your own server…). Your profile stays reachable at theid.dev/@yourname, so you keep the identity while hosting your own site.
1-click presets
Skip the DNS docs. One click wires your subdomain to the most common hosts:

SSL is provisioned automatically via Cloudflare — no certificates to manage.
Team plan unlocks wildcard subdomains: *.yourname.theid.dev, so every project can get its own address.
